Kristie Anyabwile is an author and editor of His Testimonies, My Heritage: Women of Color on the Word of God (2019). She is an instructor for women Bible teachers with the Charles Simeon Trust, and is a founding member of The Pelican Project, a women’s theology organization. She has written contributions for many books and authored Literarily most recently. Her work can also be found at The Front Porch, The Gospel Coalition, Desiring God, Christianity Today, and Revive Our Hearts. She is a pastor’s wife and has been married almost 30 years. They have 3 children.
Beverly Chao Berrus lives in Orange County, CA, with her husband Jason, who serves as a pastor. They have three children, Samantha, Jack, and Jude. They previously lived in the Middle East. Bev's writing has been featured at Risen Motherhood, The Gospel Coalition, Gospel-Centered Discipleship, 9Marks, and ERLC. She contributed to His Testimonies, My Heritage: Women of Color on the Word of God, a devotional through Psalm 119. Bev is passionate about helping women grow in their love for the Triune God, his word, and his people.
Aimee Joseph is a church planting wife and a mother to three sons. After years of college and women’s ministry, she now serves alongside her husband who is the lead pastor of Center City Church in San Diego. She is the author of Demystifying Decision Making: A Practical Guide (Crossway, 2022) and You are Secure: Devotions for When Life Is Uncertain (New Growth Press, 2024). Her writing has been featured at TGC, Desiring God, Risen Motherhood, and Modern Reformation. Her great delight is to equip women to love God’s word in the context of the local church!
Colleen McFadden trains women Bible teachers with the Charles Simeon Trust, a ministry devoted to equipping the next generation of Bible expositors. She teaches and trains women in her local church and enjoys one-to-one Bible reading with women there. Colleen and her husband live in the Philadelphia area where her husband teaches at Cairn University.
Irene Sun was born in Malaysia and is the author of the picture book God Counts: Numbers in His Word and His World. She studied liturgy and literature at Yale University (MAR) and Old Testament and Semitic Languages at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (ThM). She now teaches her four boys at home with her preacher husband, Hans. They serve and belong to Pittsburgh Chinese Church.
Adrienne Lawrence has been involved in ministry since she started leading Bible studies for her Inter-Varsity college group at Duke University. She later earned her M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Since then, she has spoken at conferences and retreats, discipled women, worked with children, and written curriculum. She also serves on the women's Bible study teaching and writing team at her local church, Hinson Baptist Church in Portland, OR. Adrienne enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, and exploring new restaurants with her husband and five children.
Shana Powell has been a missionary working with college students for 17 years and currently gives leadership nationally with Cru. She also spent time serving the church in adult discipleship, outreach, and missional mobilization. She loves to help others think strategically and practically about sharing the Gospel, building multiplying disciples, and spiritual movements. Shana and her husband Tyler live and minister in Bozeman, Montana. Shana attends Western Seminary for her D.Min and previously completed an M.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies.
Taylor Turkington

Taylor Turkington (MA, DMin) loves teaching the Bible and equipping others to do the same. She previously worked for Western Seminary and The Gospel Coalition, directing training ministries for women. Today she directs BibleEquipping and lives in Portland, Oregon with her family.

Blair Linne is the author of Finding My Father. She is a Bible teacher, actress, spoken word artist, and the creator of the podcast GLO with The Gospel Coalition. Blair has toured globally and is known as one of the originators of the Christian Spoken Word genre. Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ through speaking and spoken word is her passion. She and her husband, Shai, live in Portland, Oregon, with their three children.
Cynthia McFarland - The most important thing about me is I am one whom Jesus loves and purchased. I live and work in Portland, OR with my husband and the baby currently growing in my womb, due spring 2024.
I hold a Master's degree in Ministry & Leadership with a Pastoral Care to Women concentration from Western Seminary. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, reading, hiking, asking a lot of questions, creating puns, and traveling.
Whitney Woollard is a writer, speaker, and Bible teacher in Portland, OR, where she and her husband Neal call Hinson Baptist Church home. She holds her M.A. in biblical and theological studies from Western Seminary and loves sharing her passion for the Bible, theology, and Christ-centered living with others. Rachel Gilson (M.Div) serves on the leadership team of Theological Development and Culture with Cru, and is the author of Born Again This Way: Coming Out, Coming to Faith, and What Comes Next (The Good Book Company, 2020). Her writing has appeared in Christianity Today and for Desiring God and The Gospel Coalition, and she speaks nationally and internationally at churches and on college campuses. Rachel is pursuing a PhD in Public Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and lives in the Boston area with her husband and daughter.
